Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has, Thursday, arrived Bauchi State to pay a condolence visit to the governor and people of the state.
Buhari is visiting the State, after the heavy windstorm in Bauchi metropolis and environs late on Saturday where many were equally killed.
Also, a large portion of the Azare Central Market in Katagum Local Government was gutted by fire on Sunday.
The presidential jet touched down at the Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport, Bauchi at about 9:30 am on Thursday.
He was welcomed by Governor Muhammed Abubakar, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Kawuwa Damina; Secretary to the Bauchi State Government, Mr Mohammed Nadada; Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mr Mustapha Maihaja among others.
