Human rights lawyer, Inibehe Efffiong, has slammed clergyman Pastor Enoch Adeboye over the prayers he has offered for Nigeria in the last four years.
Inibehe was reacting to a news headline quoting Adeboye as saying that ‘’There shall be a new Nigeria.”
In a series of Tweets, Inibehe asked what positive impact Adeboye’s prayers have had on Nigeria. He argued that instead of telling ‘‘corrupt politicians and election riggers the truth like prophets of old, Adeboye legitimizes their fraud with the toga of religion.”
