It looks like the Ghanaian hip hop song, sung by Sylvanus Dodji Jeoffrey popularly known as Captain Planet (4×4) and others, or the pidgin saying: “monkey dey work, baboon dey chop” when one considers the amount of Value Added Tax (VAT) each geopolitical zone in Nigeria generated in 2024 and how much each zone got back when the total VAT was shared among the six geopolitical zones.

2. SOUTH SOUTH

4. NORTH EAST
Contributed: N174.50bn
Received: N411.84bn (236%)

5. NORTH CENTRAL

Received: N408.66bn (264.4%)

6. SOUTH EAST
