A woman-led health activist group made up of nuns in California has claimed it helps people by selling healing marijuana to people in pain.
According to Reuters, the seven member group does not belong to any order of the Catholic Church.
A 58-year-old member, Sister Kate, who founded the sisterhood expressed that the sisterhood does not believe in religion.
She said: “We’re against religion, so we’re not a religion. We consider ourselves Beguine revivalists, and we reach back to pre-Christian practices.” (Photo: Youtube)
