Police officers to face disciplinary action for extorting N400,000 from a citizen (photo)

Two Nigerian police officers are to face disciplinary action for allegedly extorting N400,000 from a Nigerian man.

A Twitter user had come on the microblogging platform to cry for help after the officers allegedly stopped him and extorted the said money from him.

Spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, stepped into the case and after a detailed investigation, the erring officers were reportedly arrested.

SP Hundeyin apologized to the alleged extorted Twitter user and added that the officers will face disciplinary action.
