The chief executive officer of Priceline, Darren Huston, resigned from his post after an internal investigation discovered that he had an inappropriate relationship with an employee that violated the company code of conduct.
The 50-year-old executive reportedly won’t receive any severance payments and has been required to forfeit some of his equity-based awards. Huston also allegedly had a relationship with a second employee, but that one did not report to him. The company described the findings as “inconsistent with the Board’s expectations for executive conduct, which Huston acknowledged and for which he expressed regret.”
