News

Prolific writer, famous critic and author, Dr Femi Aribisala has mocked the All Progressives Congress (APC) over its recent leadership crisis.

Aribisala, on Friday afternoon, took a swipe at a national leader of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the suspended national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, tagging them, ‘Internally displaced Politicians’ following the dissolution of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party.

On Thursday, the party organized a National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting where the NWC was immediately dissolved and a caretaker committee was formed to take over its responsibilities.

The Governor of Yobe state, Mai Mala Buni, was appointed and immediately sworn in as the Chairman of the said APC Caretaker Committee.

People now believe there remains in APC two factions, the ACN and the CPC which represent Tinubu’s former party and Buhari’s former party that merged together around 2013 or 2014.

Oshiomhole and Tinubu are also believed to wield considerable influence over the dissolved NWC.
