Director-General of Bureau of Public Service Reforms, Dr Joe Abah, has described the bill for establishing Peace Corps of Nigeria as a scam.
He said this sequel to President Muhammadu Buhari’s rejection of the proposed bill establishing Peace Corps of Nigeria on Tuesday,
Buhari’s rejection of the bill was contained in a letter read during plenary on Tuesday by Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.
In the letter, Buhari cited security concerns and financial burden of funding the organisation by the government as his reasons for rejection of the bill.
Abah in agreement with Buhari’s decision took to his Twitter page and wrote “Thank you, Mr President.
“This was always a scam!”
