International Tennis star, Serena Williams has announced the birth of her second child with husband Alexis Ohanian. The couple shared the news in a heartwarming video on social media.
Williams posted the clip to her 1.6 million followers on TikTok, and was accompanied by husband Alexis and eldest child Olympia. In the video, the tennis icon is seen taking a seat with her partner, before being joined by their five-year-old.
Williams then quickly leaves her seat, before returning with their newborn baby. Announcing her second child to the world, the 41-year-old included the caption: ‘Welcome my beautiful angel,” alongside the video.
It was then revealed that Williams and Ohanian had welcomed their second daughter, five years on from the birth of Olympia. Ohanian confirmed the news on social media, revealing the newborn’s gender and name ‘Adira River’.
Ohanian, writing on Twitter, said: “I’m grateful to report our house is teaming with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and happy & healthy mama. Feeling grateful. @serenawilliams you’ve now given me another incomparable gift — you’re the GMOAT. Thanks to all the amazing medical staff who took care of my wife & our daughter
