The Federal Ministry of Health in Nigeria has announced ten new cases of Coronavirus confirmation in the country.

Three persons tested positive to the virus in Abuja while seven tested positive in Lagos. This brings the total number of persons with the virus in Nigeria to 22. Two patients have been treated and discharged.

Nine of the new cases have travel history outside Nigeria in the last one week. The tenth case is a close contact of one of the confirmed cases. This clearly shows that those who have tested positive to the virus in Nigeria mostly contracted it outside the country.
