Nigerian House of Representatives, Tuesday, recalled its former Chairman, Committee on Appropriation, Abdulmumini Jibrin, from suspension.
Jibrin was recalled sequel to a letter of apology he wrote to the House which was announced during plenary by Speaker, Yakubu Dogara.
Even though he did not read the content of the letter, the Speaker said by implication, Jibrin can resume “if he wishes.”
The House had in 2016 suspended Jibrin, following an allegation of budget padding he made against the Speaker; his Deputy, Yusuf Lasun; Chief Whip, Ado Doguwa and Minority Leader, Leo Ogor.
