It was a charged atmosphere in the two leading political parties – Democratic Party and Republican Party. Hillary Clinton of Democratic Party appears to have won in all the five major states of Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Illinois and Missouri against her opponent, Bernie Sanders while Donald Trump won in four of these states but losing to John Casich in the state of Ohio.
Hillary Clinton is now very close to becoming the Democratic Party nominee to contest in the November presidential election. In the case of Donald Trump, he would still need to win 60% of the remaining primary elections to become the Republican Party nominee according to John King of CNN. The other contenders still in the race in Republican Party are Ted Cruz and John Casich. Marco Rubio who lost his state of Florida to Trump has suspended his campaign.
