Spain beat England 2-1 in a dramatic Euro 2024 final on Sunday, standing up to the tournament’s comeback kings and rising back to the top of European soccer in style.
Earlier, after a closely contested first-half of the Euro 2024 final between Spain and England in Berlin, the score read 0-0 as the two teams still searched for a first goal in the summit clash.
Nico Williams and Mikel Oyarzabal scored for Spain as England’s Cole Palmer scored the equalizer off a Jude Bellingham assist in the 73rd minute. Mikel Oyarzabal, off the bench as a second-half substitute, scored the decisive goal in the 86th minute.
Spain defeated England 2-1 to win a record 4th Euro title.
