Senator Ike Ekweremadu escapes IPOB’s mob lynching in Germany

Ex-Nigerian Deputy Senate President but still a Senator, Mr. Ike Ekweremadu, was on Saturday assaulted and disgraced by suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Nuremberg, Germany.

Ekweremadu was dragged around and stoned with different objects, at the venue of the New Yam festival in the German city.

Radio Biafra wrote, “Senator Ike Ekwere Mmadu escaped being lynched by frustrated IPOB family members in Germany. He was seriously questioned and accused of conspiring with Nigeria government in proscribing and killing of hundreds of unarmed IPOB family members in Nigeria.”

The lawmaker was later whisked away in a car, after several attempts to stop him from escaping.

In the video, one of the attendees of the event was heard saying “imagine, people are dying on a daily basis, people are wailing on a daily basis and we are here enjoying.”
