  1. My brother, Malam Wane, unless there’s an additional details left out of this particular story that I did not read, I can say YES! I read the story as presented here in brother Bode Dolu’s blog…All 4 to 5 lines of it!

Telling the world that the police confirmed 2 escaped employees of the senator and the son of the former Kogi State governor, Mohammed Audu, does not indicate that the senator committed any crimes yet. Where I come from, a man is “innocent” until proven guilty. Now, you may judge him to be guilty because of his on-going run-ins with the political establishment of his state, that does not make him guilty in the court of law or in the eyes of the law.

You’d agree Sir, that there’s something that propels a man in his stature to run…1) perhaps, the fear of being killed instantly, if captured and 2) not receiving adequate hearing (due to manufactured evidences).

If the “operatives,” both local and federal, would allow the law to speak for itself and not railroad him especially, in the wake and heat of all the calls he made to the federal government recently, then, he “may” have an adequate trial. If you have more details of what he’s accused of doing, please share with us.

  2. Did you read the whole story before making your comments? So any politician can commit crimes which you acknowledged and hide under politics to escape the law?

  3. That’s absolutely “hogwash!” A full-fledged Nigerian senator! The Nigerian police is letting itself be used by political operatives to intimidate and harass citizens. Though I do not totally support the senator in many things he has done and said, but to be harassed in this fashion…is out of control. That’d make one wonder how things are going to be if states are ever allowed to get and operate their own police forces.
