Twitter Senator aka Common Sense Senator aka Ben Murray-Bruce as usual took his Twiiter account to say that Nigeria would be a lot better if Nigerian youths could channel their passion for European football to how they are governed.
In his words; If Young Nigerians could channel their passion for European football to how they are governed, they will be able to effect a transfer of the expensive player bought in 2015, who has scored no goals except own goals.

Well, the young Nigerians came at him really fast with more of them disagreeing either with his choice of comparison or reminding him that those who messed up Nigeria aren’t those his tweet is addressing. Some reactions below;
😃 😃 😃.. Just what I had in mind to reply him. Should youths be spending their entire time checking on the govt? Some of us are already sick of Nigeria. Those who brought us into this mess will certainly know how to get rid of Buhari in 2019.
— Aniefiok Nduonofit (@viva_mazcot) February 3, 2018
Yes, he has tried. But calling out the youths is uncalled for. Nigerian youths have no stake in Buhari’s government. Nobody is representing us. All the older politicians don’t want to leave the scene for the younger ones, even in PDP. He should be more sensitive next time.

If only Senators like you, could be addressing PMB boldly, and not being diplomatic when referring to him, Nigeria would’ve been moving progressively.

There also came the ones who thought the PDP has done more ill to Nigeria than the APC:
“We gave you 16 season. You couldn’t win a league cup in security, Economy etc for 16 season you can’t make a police station look like a modern police station, worst of all you do pre-season abroad. The sign on fee you took for security 3 years down not all have been recouped.

There also came the ones that know how to play the same kind of cards as Mr. Senator:
“Or if some Senators channeled their passion for beauty pageant or hate tweets to serious analytical thinking to genuinely pay off their debts, many banks will receive life and Economy will boom more.
— Ayekooto (@DeeOneAyekooto) February 4, 2018
Or if some senators channeled their passion for tweeting hypocritical & divisive messages to sponsoring anti corruption bills, many people (including this senator) will be by now spending times behind bars.

And of course the ones that have absolutely zero chill
Don’t worry, we wont only sell the expensive player, we intend to loan out most of our senators, never to return.
— Tosin Olaluwoye (@tosin_olaluwoye) February 3, 2018
If we Nigerians could redirect our passion from football to effect CHANGES in governance, we will be able to invoke permanent injuries on all our expensive players in NASS FC earning bogus sign on fees without defending well but allowing cheap goals!

If Young Nigerians could channel their passion for Entertainment (Watching Silverbird TV, Visiting Silverbird cinemas, Applying for the most beautiful girl in Nigeria and listening to rhythms 93.7) probably……..
— naijatalks (@naijatalksblog) February 3, 2018
We will surely do that. Not only the best player that score own goals but all his teammates that cant give quality passes yet sitting at Apo Mansion collecting huge monthly match bonuses despite losing matches. That include you Senator.

Nigerians never run out of ideas, now that’s a fact!!!
