Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari announced the suspension of Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Walter Onnoghen and swore in Justice Tanko Mohammed as acting CJN to replace him. He said he based his decision on an ex-parte order made by the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
