See 2 Yorubamen in Britain, British Press calls one ‘a Nigerian’ and the other ‘a Briton’ (Photos)

Una see life? The first picture is that of the UK terrorist, Michael Adebolajo, who butchered a British soldier in 2013. Though, he has British parentage, he has never been to Nigeria. He was born in Britain and holds British passport. The British press described him as British-born Nigerian. Fast forward to 2016- the second picture is that of Anthony Oluwafemi Joshua, a British-Nigerian, who just became the British heavyweight boxing Champion. But the British press refuses to call him British-Nigerian but simply British. They don’t even refer to his middle Nigerian name. See life?

  1. Where dignity and integrity reign supreme, you don’t want to subscribe to a ‘bad image’. reminds me of my Yoruba root: Oyo Ayo omo sile; NO! omo ti ko gboran l’Oyo manyo sile. Oyos would stay away from the delinquent child but will embrace the purposeful one.
