Bayelsa State Police Command on Sunday confirmed the release of the 80 year-old Mrs. Beauty Ogere Siasia, the abducted mother of former Nigerian Super Eagles star and coach, Samson Siasia.
The former Super Eagles star, who recently said he paid the kidnappers N1.5 million ransom fee, had appealed to the government to help bring back his mother.
According to reports from Bayelsa State, the 80-year old madam Siasia who was kidnapped on July 15 by heavily armed gunmen who invaded her Odoni country home in Sagbama Local Government Area has been freed.
This is the second time in four years Madam Siasia would be kidnapped.
