Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, has warned Nigerians against taking to heart the many prophecies of various clerics for the New Year 2017.
In a tweet on Saturday, December 31, Omokri warned Nigerians not to allow themselves be swayed by the predictions of prophets whose 2016 prophecies never came to pass.
Omokri also took the opportunity to fire pot shots at Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and clerics Reverend Father Mbaka and Pastor Tunde Bakare over their silence on the killings in Southern Kaduna.
Omokri wondered why the trio, who are always quick to defend the government, are not saying anything about the murders purportedly being carried out by Fulani herdsmen in the southern Kaduna region.
Meanwhile, popular clergyman Apostle John Suleman has released 50 prophecies for the year 2017.
The prophecies, which were contained in a statement signed by his advisor on public communications, Phrank Shaibu warned the federal government not relax yet on Boko Haram. “It’s a deception,” he said.
