Buhari’s spokesman, Garba Shehu was on Tuesday quoted as saying Nigeria is secure. This angered Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan who challenged Mr. Shehu to go to any village in Borno state without security and spend the night there, and that he would give him $20,000 for doing so.
To show his seriousness, he said the money will be given to Chief Dele Momodu to hold, so that after the task, which must be verified by an independent journalist, he can pass it on to Mr Shehu. Dele Momodu also publicly accepted the task, lol.
By the time Shehu responded, he said he wants to know if the money is part of the funds gotten from Reno’s ”FreeLeahSharibu” campaign, and he won’t be touching a money like that.
It’s hilarious people. Reno then went to make a video calling Shehu out again and saying he should not distract us from the activity and in conclusion asked him to go to Borno as a whopping $20k awaits him. LMAO… Reno;s tweet, Shehu’s response prompted Reno’s video calling him out.
