Nigerians on Twitter are reacting to photos and video of Prophet T.B Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations praying on the mountain against the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria and the world in general.
The man of God who earlier prophesied that the Coronavirus pandemic would end on March 27, went to the mountain along with his mat and pillow, to pray against the viral disease that has claimed the lives of 40 Nigerians and 214,429 persons worldwide. He stayed up in the mountain praying for four days.
Nigerians have taken to Twitter to react to the photos with some of them claiming the man of God is stylishly self isolating. Some said it is attention seeking while someone even referred to what Joseph did to defeat famine in old Egypt:
“When Joseph became aware of the famine that was to come from the interpretation of Pharaoh’s dream, he didn’t go to the mountain to pray for God to take the famine away. Instead, he saved the Egyptians from a seven-year famine by collecting and storing grain in silos during the seven prior years of plenty through planning and using of his number six.”
