President Muhammadu Buhari has recalled Nigerian ambassadors in foreign countries.
Media reports say that the ambassadors were recalled as part of efforts to reposition the country’s foreign policies.
When contacted, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, confirmed the recall. He however said only non-career ambassadors would be affected in the recall.
“Yes, I can confirm to you that non-career ambassadors have been recalled by the Federal Government,” the presidential spokesman said.
