Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Jacob Oladele Agbeyo, professionally known as Dele Gold, has been laid to rest.
The Ekiti-born singer died after a brief illness on September 11, 2024.
His burial ceremony which took place at his residence in Abule Egba, Lagos on Thursday, September 19 2024, was attended by prominent figures.
Among the prominent figures at the event were popular Nollywood actor, Saidi Balogun, and gospel musicians Genesis, Wale Dada and Femi Solar.
His teeming fans also paid glorious tributes to the 48-year-old, and celebrated his life and achievements.
Dele Gold, who was also known as The Miliki Gospel King, was a native of Usi-Ekiti in Ekiti State.
He got more recognition after he collaborated with Juju music legend, Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey on his album in 2019.
His death came barely a month after the death of another gospel singer, Aduke Ajayi popularly known as Aduke Gold.
