Men of the Lagos State Police Command in conjunction with the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) and Local vigilante groups have raided the hideouts of persons believed to belong to the notorious cult group, Badoo, arresting over a hundred suspected members.
Reliable source at the Lagos State Police Command revealed that the surprise raid took place last night and that the operation continued into the wee hours of Sunday morning.
“The successful raid and arrests are connected with the closed-door meeting held last week, between top Police authorities in Lagos, the OPC leader, Gani Adams, and other local vigilante groups,” the source, who pleaded anonymity said.
