Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr Peter Obi, has floored the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State.
This was based on the collation of results at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Lagos State collation centre in Yaba.
Obi polled 582,454 votes to trounce the former Lagos State governor who scored 572,606 votes.
This is the first time since 1999 that a party backed by Mr. Tinubu, a two-time Lagos governor, has not won the state.
The LGAs which Obi won are Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Amuwo-Odofin, Eti-Osa, Ikeja, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo, Somolu, Ojo and Alimosho
Tinubu won in Agege, Apapa, Badagry, Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Ifako-Ijaiye, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland, and Surulere.
