According to Ben Murray-Bruce, Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari has jetted out 25 times in 10 months. Hopefully, something positive will come out from all the traveling.

Greetings all
I am beginning to wonder if people/Nigerians in this forum
are bent on criticizing President Buhari on all fronts just
for the sake of having their names in print or to present
constructive criticism and suggestions for running the
country as he was duly elected. No doubt, every Nigerian
has his/her preferred candidate during election, and now has
differing views how the country is being run…or should be
run; at the bottom of it all, this is the classic defini-
tion of DEMOCRACY. Frankly,I am very surprised that many
people in this forum are criticizing President Buhari’s
attendance at the recent International Nuclear Summit in Washington D.C, USA. What would these same people have said if
Nigeria was not invited and/or not represented? Wailing and
screams about Nigeria not being recognized in the world
affairs, would have filled the airwaves. At present, Nigeria
has become SYNONYMOUS with CORRUPTION, SCAMS and many other
crimes at home and abroad!! Can’t we, for a moment, see some
glimmer of positive character and presence in anything
Nigeria/Nigerian? Nobody is denying that the country has
many problems typical of human/man-made institutions; but
this extreme level of negativity IN ALL AREAS OF NIGERIA’S
AFFAIRS WILL DO MORE HARM THAN GOOD. Think about it.
The old man needs to visit as many countries as possible now that he has the opportunity to do so. beside, he is Mr clean and cannot be seen as stealing your money, but he can make as much estacode as possible from numerous travels and you cannot count that to be corrupt enrichment of oneself, its an entitlement. Even for trips that ministers should go for, he has to be the one going for it. Its unfortunate. We need real change, the only change I can record now is that we have change for handing over baton within one party to opposition party winning the incumbent, beside that, nothing has changed, we are rather worse off. We are busy building strong men and weakening our institutions. We have more violence and division more than ever. Nigerians are suffering untold hardship, no fuel, no light, cost of living is climbing the roof and many more. May God help Nigeria in Jesus name. Amen
