Doyen of the accounting profession in Nigeria, Pa Akintola Williams, has passed away.
Pa Williams died in the early hours of Monday, September 11, 2023, in his sleep at a ripe age of 104 years.
Channels Television reports that the foremost accountant celebrated his 104th birthday on August 9, 2023.
Pa Williams is the first Nigerian to qualify as a chartered accountant.
The late Williams was a brother of equally Nigeria’s first Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), late Chief Frederick Rotimi Alade Williams.
