
The workers say as part of the Memorandum of Understanding they signed, their January salary was supposed to be paid starting from on Monday July 13 while they await the payment of the remaining salaries when the bailout from the Federal government gets to the state.
They say they were however surprised that it was only the junior workers in the state that received full payments of their January salary while Senior workers got half of their salaries, a situation the state NLC leaders saw as suspicious and immediately called for a fresh strike. (LIB).
