Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has terminated the appointment of the Director General of the Department of State Security Services, Lawal Musa Daura.
In a tweet, the news of Daura’s termination was released by Laolu Akande, the Senior Special Assistant-Media & Publicity to the Acting President Osinbajo.
Akande tweeted “AgP Yemi Osinbajo has directed the termination of the appointment of the DG of the DSS, Mr. Lawal Musa Daura. Mr. Daura has been directed to hand over to the most senior officer of the State Security Service until further notice.”

Well done Mr Acting President as one should think that the security of the people of Nigeria is of paramount interest to any reasonable entity. A decisive action like the termination of the erring DGDS ‘Mr Daura’ is a touch of excellent idea.
