The late Ondo State Commissioner for Health, Dr Wahab Adegbenro has been laid to rest.
He was buried on Friday in his native town, Ilara- Mokin, Ondo State, Nigeria, according to Muslim rites.
In contravention of social distancing order, sympathisers trooped to his family house where he was buried.
Families and friends wailed uncontrollably as his remains were being committed to mother earth.
Although, most of the sympathisers wore their face masks, the crowd at the venue were not controlled.
Dr. Adegbenro died at the Federal Medical Center, Owo, on Thursday morning after testing positive to coronavirus and as a result of its complications.
