Oloye of Oye-Ekiti, Oba Michael Oluwole Ademolaju Adugbole III is new Chairman, Ekiti Council of Obas

Related imageThe Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayodele Fayose has installed the Oloye of Oye-Ekiti, Oba Michael Oluwole Ademolaju Adugbole III, as the new Chairman of Ekiti State’s Council of Obas.

As announced in July by Lere Olayinka, the Governor’s Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, “the appointment of Oba Oluwole Ademolaju as Chairman, Ekiti State Council of Obas takes immediate effect”.

Oba Oluwole Ademolaju takes over from the Ologotun of Ogotun Ekiti, Oba Samuel Oyebade.

Fayose thanked the immediate past Chairman, Oba Samuel Oyebade for his selfless contributions to the state while in office, especially his commitment to peace and development in the state, which he demonstrated during his tenure.

The Governor advised the new Chairman of the Obas to be upright in his dealings and ready to discharge his duties without fear or favour. He also urged the other 56 traditional rulers who form the council to cooperate with the new Chairman.
