Popular Nigerian comedian, Mr. Macaroni, and other #OccupyLekkiTollgate protesters who were arrested in the early hours of Saturday, February 13, have been arraigned before a mobile court in Panti, Yaba, Lagos state and granted N100,000 bail with sureties in like sum.

According to the state police command, they were arrested on grounds of conspiracy, conduct likely to cause breach of the peace and violation of COVID-19 protocols.

Following their arraignment, the court mandated them to present their certificate of COVID19 test and adjourned the case till March 2nd, 2020.
