Once upon a time …. or should we say, when the going was good between Adams Oshiomhole and Godwin Obaseki ….
This is another case for Nigerians following Nigerian politicians to learn lessons from so as not to kill themselves, or subject themselves to danger for anybody seeking political office in Nigeria.
One can imagine how easily Obaseki and Ize Iyamu switched around in PDP and APC to contest in 2020 election. Obaseki who contested for governor on the platform of APC in 2016 is now contesting for the same office on the platform of PDP while Ize Iyamu who did it then as a PDP person is now doing it under APC.
Someone wrote a few days ago that Obaseki, was former head of the Edo Economic team and best man at Oshiomhole’s wedding. One can see how they turned themselves into figures of such rabid hatred.
If Atiku and Obasanjo’s fight never taught party supporters anything, they should be able to learn from this one, taking into consideration all that Oshiomhole said of Ize Iyamu four years ago. They are now together.
