Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the total number of registered voters and the total number of collected Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) for the looming 2019 general elections in Nigeria.
INEC, which said, registered voters in the country were 84,008,048, noted that 72,775,502 Nigerians representing approximately 87% of registered voters, have collected their PVCs. This and other relevant info could be seen under homepage sliding headlines on the commission’s website.
The data, as provided by INEC, shows Lagos State with over 5.53 million PVCs collected, maintaining the highest position among all the 36 states and FCT, Abuja.
Lagos is followed by Kano State with over 4.6 million PVCs collected. Ekiti State has the lowest collection of PVC.
