Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and other unions walked in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, in support and in solidarity for the embattled governor of the State, Siminalayi Fubara.
The governor has been in the eyes of the storm since October when the members of Rivers State House of Assembly started a move to impeach Fubara who had just spent a few months in office as governor because he is in disagreement with his godfather, ex-governor Nyesom Wike.
