Nigerians on Facebook called out Presidential spokesperson, Femi Adesina, for referring to one of his critics, US Based Professor of English, Pius Adessanmi, as a Chief Wailer. Adesanmi shared a post on his Facebook page condemning Adesina’s seeming distance from Nigerians whom he is meant to be feeding with information about President Buhari.
When Femi Adesina saw the post, he went on to the comment section and wrote “Chief Wailer”. Many Nigerians condemned him for this, saying as a public figure, he is meant to take criticisms more maturely. See more of their responses below.
