One half of P-Square identical twin collaborative star singers, Paul Okoye, has announced the group’s dissolution. The other one half is Peter Okoye, both born by the same parents.
In an Instagram Live session, Paul Okoye revealed his decision to end the partnership with his brother, Peter Okoye, also known as Mr. P.
Paul expressing his mind in pidgin, cited burnout and uneven workload distribution.
He said: “Those days of monkey dey work baboon dey chop, I no dey do am again. Every time na me go dey sing all the songs. I’ll rather work for myself”
He emphasized his desire to focus on his solo career, prioritizing his own interests over supporting others.
The brothers’ collaborative journey as P-Square has come to an end, marking a new chapter in their individual musical pursuits.
According to Paul Okoye, he is now set to concentrate on his solo projects, leaving behind the legacy of P-Square.
