Nigerian star singer, actor, celebrity, motivational speaker, and politician, Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has relocated to the United States with his family.
The boss of Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) revealed the move on his Instagram page, sharing that he will be pursuing a Master’s degree at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
Alongside a photo of himself, his wife, star actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington, and their child at the airport, Banky W asked his followers to send their best wishes as they embark on this new chapter.
According to Punch, the 43-year-old artiste was born in the United States and married to Adesua in 2017.
Banky W contested for the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency in Lagos State in Lagos more than once but didn’t win.
In his Instagram caption, Banky W, on Monday, wrote: “For family. For finding purpose.
“For the next year of earning a Master’s degree in Policy Management at Georgetown University in Washington DC.
“Wish us well.”
Responding at the comment section, his wife, a renowned Nigerian actress, Adesua wrote: “Home is wherever you are.”
