Coronavirus: FG begins disbursement of N20, 000 to poor Nigerians in Abuja (photos)

Nigerian government has commenced the disbursement of N20,000 Conditional Cash Transfer to poor Nigerians at the Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari, on Sunday March 29, announced that some palliative measures will be put in place to help cushion the economic effect of the sit-at-home order which began in Lagos and Abuja on Monday night.

While kickstarting the disbursement of the funds today, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadia Umar-Farouk, said each person would receive N5,000 every month for four months beginning from March.

It is not clear here how they measure the poor Nigerian, the scale they use to ascertain the poor Nigerian, and whether they still maintain the age of sixty and above bracket they earlier set down for the disbursement

  1. I cant see any poor Nigerian in this picture. They don’t live in Aso Rock but in villages far away unreachable to the politicians except when it is time to vote! You crazy liars must know that whatever you swallow now, you will be held accountable and must vomit it after you leave office some days. It will be difficult for Nigeria to heal and as long as the duplicitous, deceptive and blind Buhari regime is in power, Nigeria will be hard to heal>
