A Nigerian diplomat was found dead at his home in Khartoum, the Sudanese capital, Thursday, May 10th. Security sources in the country confirmed this development to Reuters.
While the identity of the said Nigerian diplomat has not been revealed, the security sources said preliminary investigation suggest that he was killed.
Dubai-based al-Arabiya television identified the diplomat as the consul general and described his death as an “assassination”. Reports on social media suggests the killers used a knife to attack him.
The Sudanese police has launched an investigation into the matter.
