Nigerian female athlete, Favour Ofili was in tears after finishing in 6th position at the 200meters women final.
Gabrielle Thomas from United States won gold, Julien Alfred from Saint Lucia won silver, while Brittany Brown also from United States won bronze.
Ofili on Monday August 5, finished second during the qualifiers with a season’s best time of 22.05s. She was however, unable to win any medal in the finals.
