Burial ceremony of Nollywood actor, Johnpaul Obumneme Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope, held at his hometown Ukehe, in Nsukka, Igboetiti Local Government Area of Enugu State, Nigeria.
The actor died alongside four other crew members in a boat mishap in Anam river on April 10, while filming a movie titled, ‘Other Side of Life’.
Burial arrangements for Jnr Pope commenced on 23 April with a requiem mass at Saint John-Mary Vianney Parish in Asaba, Delta State.
Another requiem mass occurred on 13 May at Christ the King Catholic Parish in G.R.A, Enugu.
On 14 May, the actor was honoured with an evening of tributes and candlelight at the Amadeo Event Centre in Enugu.
Tears flowed freely on Friday May 17, as the 43-year-old actor was buried in Uwala Abaka, Ukehe, in Enugu State, Nigeria, after fans, colleagues, and family paid their last respects.
He is survived by a wife and three sons.
