Former Nigerian Minister of Finance during President Olusegun Obasanjo’s administration and President Goodluck Jonathan’s Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Dr. (Mrs) Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has shown, using Rwanda as example, how food distribution should be responsibly done to assist lower income households, and to give way for safe social distancing.
Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala also wrote in same Twitter handle how community workers can also distribute food and other necessities from door to door.
She tweeted:
“Responsible food distribution with social distancing to assist lower income households in the #COVID19 era! A great example from #Rwanda where community workers also distribute food and other necessities door-to-door @PaulKagame
