Spokesperson of National Consultative Forum, Dr. Yinusa Tanko has commented on a possible merger between Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi and New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential candidate, Engr. Rabiu Kwankwaso.
In an interview on Arise TV, Tanko stated that there is need for Obi and Kwankwaso who are well rooted in the Southern and Northern region of the country respectively to work together.
He further revealed that if their talks pull through, Nigerians should expect more from them.
But, will Kwankwaso concede presidential ticket to Peter Obi in the arrangement, considering Kwankwaso’s statement weeks ago that he would have made Peter Obi his own vice president? Otherwise, it will still mean same, same as the last seven years.
