The stars couldn’t have aligned for a better cause last night as Lisa Kudrow, Katherine Heigl, Molly Ringwald, Sarah Hyland, and Yahoo Style cover stars Sophie Tweed Simmons and James Marsden were among the crew who attended the TrevorLIVE event at the Hollywood Paladium.
But while these celebrities are regulars on the red carpet, Monica Lewinsky, who has hidden from the spotlight for years, emerged looking more stylish and modern than usual.
Lewinsky, 41, who has recently made headlines for speaking out against cyberbullying, wore an ankle length black dress with ruching detail down the skirt. Accessorizing with a a black clutch and silver heels, her fashion sense has taken a turn towards the more casual and incognito since the ’90s. Her makeup is also more toned-down and fresh, with natural lips, rosy cheeks, and just a hint of dark eyeshadow.
The fête supported the important non-for-profit organization the Trevor Project, now in its sixteenth year, which provides much-needed help and crisis intervention to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.
Monica Lewinsky told Joe Zee that, “I’m glad that people who need that kind of help can get it.”
