She is a consultant paediatrician and doubles as both the medical director and chief executive officer of Medicaid Radio-diagnostics, Abuja. She is one of the children of Alhaji Umaru Shinkafi who was the head of the Nigerian Security Organisation (NSO) during former President Shehu Shagari’s administration in the 1980s.
