A man has been accused of raping and killing a young mum in Brazil before tying an 11-year-old girl next to the dead body.
The lady, Rhayany Rhutila Moraes Silva aged 30 was allegedly attacked by the man before he fled in the early hours of November 23.
The ordeal took place in the Brazilian municipality of Barra do Garcas in the west-central state of Mato Grosso and Rhayany’s body was found after she was reported missing by her friend, who called her employer.
Her employer then reportedly jumped the gate to her house and discovered both the woman and child tied up.
The woman was gagged and tied from head to toe and lying dead on her stomach.
The unnamed child, whose arms were tied with pieces of clothing, was found alive and terrified.
Speaking to police, the girl reported that the unknown killer broke in through the back of the house and was armed with a knife.
He then made several threats against the both of them before raping and killing the woman.
Speaking to police, the young girl described the killer as a tall, white, bearded man, who fled the scene on a motorbike after committing the crime.
He has not yet been caught.
The case is being investigated by the police and coronary tests are underway to determine the exact cause of Silva’s death. (LIB)
