Very horrific incident occurred on Friday, February 28 in Sapele, Delta State, Nigeria, when a father of six identified as Mr. Felix Edore committed suicide upon discovering that his wife of 16 years was allegedly cheating on him.
The deceased said to be a taxi driver who shuttled between Abraka and Eku communities, drank the poisonous Sniper insecticide after uncovering his wife’s extramarital affair.
According to The Nation, an eyewitness said:
“He came home that evening and was as usual very lively. He brought his car and was complaining about the radiator or so. It was when he left and came back that we learnt he had drunk Sniper.”.
It was further learnt that Edore was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead on Saturday morning.
