Peoples Democratic party (PDP) presidential candidate, Mr. Atiku Abubakar kicked off his campaign today in Sokoto state. The former vice president, who would be locking horns with the incumbent president, Muhammadu Buhari in the forthcoming presidential election, was welcomed by a huge cheering crowd.
Atiku, who has pledged to get Nigeria working, if he wins the 2019 presidential election, has expressed optimism, that he would coast victory come 2019.
Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara while speaking at the campaign rally, said, “the coming election in 2019 is about the future of our younger generations. Today, we have a man that can put food on our table and make life better. We must all work hard and vote out the failed government of All Progressives Congress(APC) in 2019.”
